In the 21 st century,the application range of low-cost and high-efficiency pipe chain conveyors has gradually expanded.The research and application of tube chain conveyors are of great significance for improving transportation efficiency and promoting the development of green and low carbon economy.Based on the application research of pipe chain conveyor in Panzhihua Iron and Steel Co.,Ltd.,this paper analyzes the imperfect mechanical analysis of domestic pipe chain conveyor,the defects in manufacturing,the material problem of disk and the problems in operation.It has a very positive significance for promoting and guaranteeing the further development of domestic tubular chain conveyors.Firstly,this paper systematically studies the current development history and research status of domestic and foreign conveyors,and specifically analyzes the shortcomings and main problems of today's tubular chain conveyors,and combines the problems in the actual production of Panzhihua sponge titanium production line.This is a foothold to improve the pipe chain conveyor.Secondly,through the introduction of the working principle,structural composition,related production application and corresponding theoretical knowledge of the pipe chain conveyor,at the same time,based on the domestic and foreign literature and the continuous observation of the actual production line of Panzhihua sponge titanium,The manufacturing problems,installation problems and operation problems of the steel sponge titanium pipe chain conveyor have been analyzed in detail,laying the foundation for the improvement of equipment.Furthermore,based on two aspects of research work: First,based on the limit equilibrium conditions of the bulk material,the theoretical calculation of the mechanical properties of the bulk material is made in detail,and the corresponding theoretical calculation formula is established and corrected.The rational design of the conveyor provides a theoretical basis;second,the structural design calculation of the important components of the pipe chain conveyor system,determine the correspondingmodels and materials,including the conveyor system,transmission system,drive system,feeding system As well as the analysis of material properties,the design requirements of the pipe chain conveyor suitable for the production process of Pangang Sponge Titanium Plant were put forward.Finally,based on the analysis of the mechanical properties of the bulk material and the design and calculation of the various systems of the pipe chain conveyor,a reasonable and feasible solution is proposed for the problems existing in the pipe chain conveyor.Among them,the statistical analysis of titanium slag,calcined petroleum coke,industrial salt particle size and hardness was carried out,and the suitable particle size suitable for the production of Panzhihua Steel Sponge Titanium Plant was obtained.Through analysis,it was found that “the material was titanium slag and calcined.The hardness of petroleum coke is large,and the wear of non-metallic discs and chains is large during the transportation process.Based on the domestic and international design results,according to the trial operation results,the various operating parameters of the pipe chain conveyor are summarized.Based on the research on the structure and material of the disc,the installation and maintenance of the equipment,a targeted solution was proposed,and a connecting pipe between the upper pipe and the lower pipe was added to promote the smooth operation of the pipe chain conveyor.Improvements have been made to the structure and material of the disc,the material and size of the sprocket and chain.Combined with the actual situation of the on-site production process,the equipment operation and operation methods and equipment maintenance and maintenance methods were improved,and the improved data comparison was verified,which confirmed the effectiveness of the improved scheme.
