The focus of global attention gradually shifts to unconventional oil and gas resources.Shale oil and gas is not only a potential alternative energy for conventional natural gas,but also a clean and environmentally friendly energy source.However,shale oil and gas reservoirs are not the same as conventional oil and gas reservoirs in terms of geology and engineering,which has brought challenges to the evaluation of reserves of shale oil and gas reservoirs.In this paper,the ultimate goal is to evaluate the remaining recoverable reserves of SDA shale oil and gas reservoirs in the United States.The evaluation methods for reserves(resources)of shale oil and gas resources in major overseas shale oil and gas projects are analyzed,the comparison of the advantages and disadvantages of various evaluation methods,and trying to discuss the more appropriate of the current assessment of extraordinary gas reserves.Methods,and finally selected probabilistic volume method and degressive analysis method to evaluate the reserves of SDA shale oil and gas reservoirs.Using the static parameters obtained initially,the static volume calculations are performed using the probabilistic volume method.With the development of production,on the basis of obtaining a large amount of production data,the use of declining analysis methods for the evaluation of reserves,the comparison of dynamic and static conclusions,and the use of dynamic data.In turn,the scale volume method calculates the parameters,and at the same time analyzes the production and deployment of the reservoir based on the static results calculated by the probabilistic volume method,thereby obtaining a more accurate understanding of shale oil and gas reservoir reserves.Finally,the 2016 remaining recoverable reserves were calibrated for the Mississippi,Niobrara PRB and Tuscaloosa blocks through these two reserve assessment methods.The mutual verification of the reserve data proves the reliability and accuracy of the two methods.The calibration of reserves for the SDA shale oil and gas field not only explains the development potential of SDA,but also provides a reference for the next development and production direction of the oil and gas field.
