Induction heating has the advantages of fast heating speed,high heating efficiency inside materials,uniform heating,and a series of advantages such as good product quality,no pollution,easy to realize production automation,so it has developed rapidly in recent years.The inconsistency between the surface and core performance requirements of the roller can be solved by using induction quenching treatment,which can not only improve its surface strength,hardness and wear resistance,but also maintain its core plasticity and toughness,thus improving its ability to withstand impact load,wear resistance and fatigue resistance.Computer numerical simulation technology is used to simulate the induction heating process,which can predict the temperature field distribution of the workpiece in advance.It is of great practical significance to optimize the induction hardening heating process for the best hardened layer.Firstly,the mathematical model of the coupling of the roll’s electromagnetic field,temperature field and stress field is established by using the basic theories of electromagnetism and heat transfer.Then,the influence of current density,current frequency,air gap and other factors on the roll induction heating is studied.It is found that the current density mainly affects the heating speed,the current frequency affects the diathermy depth and heating speed,and the air gap has little effect on the heating effectFinally,the general law of the induction quenching of the roller in the moving single coil is studied.However,due to the shortcoming of short austenization time at the penetration depth,the moving double coil is used for induction heating,and the results can be improved.The research results obtained in this paper can provide a reference for the rational selection of technological parameters of roll induction heating,and a theoretical basis for revealing the law of roll induction quenching and optimizing technological parameters...
