Under the conditions of high assembly precision, large workpiece weight and narrow assembly space, the detection device can not measure the assembly positioning point, which is common in the assembly of aircraft, motor vehicles and other components. The currently used automated assembly equipment cannot meet the requirements for use.In response to this situation, this paper proposes a prototype of an automated assembly equipment under typical assembly conditions.Since the positioning accuracy is a key indicator of assembly, the accuracy requirements of each degree of freedom are different and the difference is large(error sensitivity difference).Under the condition of satisfying the accuracy requirement during design, reasonable distribution of tolerance can effectively reduce the cost. Therefore,it is important to study the error distribution. In addition,a prototype was developed and related experiments were designed. The main research contents are as follows:1.Divide typical assembly conditions and establish equipment principles and structural schemes under typical assembly conditions.Through the multi-body kinematics theory,an overall error model is established based on one of the equipment schemes.2.Summarize the typical units commonly used and discuss the causes and error distribution of unit errors, and study the method of selecting unit errors.3.Explore the general error distribution law, determine the influence degree of each error term in position error and attitude error, and summarize the tolerance optimization process.4.Design repeated test experiments, analyze the relationship between the actual error and the theoretical error, explore the influence of some units on the overall error, and verify the correctness of the error distribution law.
