The fiber angle and volume fraction of fiber materials in fiber reinforced composites have an important influence on the properties of structure.Modeling mathematically and optimizing the angle and content of fiber materials can improve the performance of the structure.In addition,the combination optimization of the internal fiber angle and overall topology can make the structure lighter,less materials used in manufacturing and better mechanical properties.Firstly,in this paper,the compliance is taken as the objective function,and the angle and volume ratio of unit fibers are taken as design variables.A mathematical model is established to optimize the fiber placement.Then the sensitivity analysis is carried out,and the optimization steps are given.The author makes the angle of the unit fibers in the optimization results continuous by using the sensitivity filtering method.Some numerical examples are given to illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the optimal design under different fiber volume ratios.Secondly,considering that the iteration speed becomes slower while design variables increasing,the Hierarchical optimization of fiber orientation of fiber-reinforced composite materials is carried out,which optimize the overall fiber orientation from coarse to fine by increasing the number of design variables in the design domain step by step.Then,the sensitivity analysis is introducted,and the interpolation method and optimization process are given.Finally,several numerical examples are used to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the method.Then,In order to optimize FRC to a better extent,combined with the idea of macrotopology optimization and micro-fiber angle optimization,the combination optimization design of fiber angle and topology was carried out.Similarly,Considering that the increase of design variables leads to the slower optimization speed,the hierarchical optimization method is adopted in combinatorial optimization.In this paper,the sensitivity calculation formula is given,and the optimization process is shown.Several numerical examples show the feasibility and effectiveness of the optimization.Finally,the paper summarizes the full paper and looks forward to the future work.
