As a national strategic level material,tungsten has good physical and chemical properties and is widely used in various advanced industrial fields.However,tungsten materials have high melting point,high hardness and stable chemical properties,which greatly increase the difficulty of processing,especially the micro-structure processing.In order to effectively increase the heat dissipation area on the surface of tungsten anode in xenon lamp,so as to significantly optimize the heat dissipation performance of xenon lamp,reduce the size of xenon lamp,improve the service life and the quality of light source it is necessary to process dense annular micro grooves on the surface of tungsten anode.Aiming at the difficult problem of surface micro-structure processing of xenon lamp tungsten anode,a high efficiency,high precision and high surface quality ECDM process based on RC power supply is proposed in this paper,and then the high depth-width annular micro-groove processing of tungsten anode on the surface is realized.Based on RC power supply,the research carries out the experimental research on ECDM technology of tungsten annular micro-groove.Firstly,the theoretical analysis of ECDM method of tungsten is carried out from the processing mechanism.Then,the experimental system of ECDM of tungsten annular micro-groove is built,the processing characteristics of ECDM of tungsten annular micro-groove are explored,and the influencing rules of ECDM parameters are mastered.Finally,the annular micro-groove verification is performed by different process parameters.The main research methods and conclusions are as follows:1.According to the technological requirement of ECDM tungsten annular micro-groove,the construction of ECDM tungsten micro-groove technological system is completed.the ECDM micro machine tool and feed motion control system are designed,and the RC power supply for the process is developed.2.According to the principle of ECDM tungsten annular micro-groove processing technology,the corrosion characteristics of tungsten in different working fluids areobtained by mapping polarization curves at electrochemical workstations;the voltage rise curve between electrodes,pulse width of pulse discharge and waveform data of dense discharge during the processing of RC power supply are recorded by oscilloscope;and the bubble formation state is observed by high-speed camera.3.The influence of process parameters on the forming law of tungsten annular micro-groove by ECDM was studied.After the same processing time,the surface composition of the micro-groove was analyzed,and the electrode losses of different working fluid components and the processing effect of the annular micro-groove under different parameters were compared.The influence rule of the processing parameters was verified,and a group of processing parameters with obvious effect and low wire loss ratio were optimized.Finally,under the optimized process parameters,the annular micro-groove with groove width of 60.13?m and depth-width ratio of 0.99 was fabricated,which achieved the goal of the project.
