| In China,high-salt and high-oil wastewater is commonly found in the food processing industry, producing a large amount of pollutants. The treatment of such wastewater has always been difficult to handle, the treatment costs are high, and there is a case where the treatment system is not operating stably. Therefore, the treatment of such wastewater has always been the focus of research. There are few reports in the literature on the use of the AB method to treat such wastewater. In this paper, for the typical high-salt and high-oil wastewater, the AB process was first proposed and related operational parameters were explored. The test first carried out the domestication culture of halophilic bacteria. After incubating by indirect culture, the sludge concentration reached 4.851 g/L,the SVI value reached 108,and the activated sludge properties were stable after 45 days of culture. The salinity of the activated sludge was later acclimated by gradually increasing the salinity, and the influent salinity was 0.5%,1.0%,and 2.0%.During the increase of salinity, the removal rate of COD will initially decrease, then gradually increase with the increase of acclimation time, and eventually reach a stable level. When the influent concentration increased to 2.0%,the microorganism species were observed and recorded by microscopic observation. The domesticated sludge was used for the adsorption performance test to treat the high-salt wastewater with initial concentration COD of 562 mg/L and salinity of 2.0%.The effluent COD was 52 mg/L,and the COD removal rate was 88%.In the AB process, the acclimated salt-tolerant activated sludge has been put into the system. The test results show that: the best hydraulic retention time in section A is about 35 min,the sludge concentration is about 3g/L,the sludge load is 4.0kg/kgMLSS*d;the best hydraulic retention time in section B is 5 hours, and the sludge concentration is 4g/ L,sludge load 0.216kg/kgMLSS*d,the optimum pH of the whole process is 7. |
