The surface treatment of Ti alloys got the development at full speed in recent years.It can significantly improve the worse performance of Ti alloys surface problem that coating a metallic oxide layer on Ti alloys.It also can optimize the mechanical properties of titanium alloys and improve the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of titanium alloy surface at the same time.This test by micro-arc oxidation technology generated metal oxide ceramic membrane on Ti-Cu alloys surface.The preparation of film was characterized,and the influence of different electrical parameters on the performance of membrane layer was researched.The content and conclusions of this paper are as follows:To use scanning electron microscopy?SEM?to photograph the preparation of film surface morphology.The results show that the membrane layer density had increased with the increase of frequency,the decrease of duty ratio and current density.The phase composition of micro-arc oxidation coatings were analyzed by X-ray diffractometer?XRD?.The influence on film by electrical parameters was studied.And the phase composition of the film was changed because of the increase of electrical parameters.The anatase type TiO2 was transformed into rutile type TiO2 with the increase of the electric parameter values.The mechanical parameters was measured by nanoindentation.The influence of mechanical parameters on film layer by the change of electrical parameters was studied.Results show that the hardness and elastic modulus of film layer was increased with the increase of electrical parameters,and all the film layer hardness and elastic modulus value is higher than matrix.The wear-resisting performance was measured by the friction and wear tester.The influence of wear-resisting performance on film layer by the different electrical parameters was discussed.The micro-arc oxide film fabricated at intermediate frequency has highest wear resistance.The increase of current density leads to the decrease of membrane layer of abrasion resistance,and the increase of surface roughness.Effect of duty ratio on the micro-arc oxide film layer similar to that of current density,with the increase of duty ratio,the wear resistance of micro-arc oxidation coatings was slightly reduced.
