With the increasing use and demand for children’s products such as toys,it has become a necessity for children.However,some harmful chemicals may exist or remain in the production,processing and storage of children’s products,which may enter and accumulate in children’s body when they are exposed to these products.Because children are immature,their bodies are more susceptible to chemical damage than adults.As a result,countries around the world have established strict safety regulations that limit the use of hazardous chemicals in children’s products.The research of this subject aims to establish a corresponding high-throughput rapid detection technology for the key chemical risk substances restricted by the relevant regulations of children’s products at home and abroad.It solves the technical shortcomings of the existing technology,such as low throughput,cumbersome pre-processing steps,and long time-consuming,and improves detection efficiency.At the same time,the establishment of high-throughput rapid detection method is also the research focus and development trend of current chemical substance residue analysis.It is the goal pursued by analytical chemists.The research work is as follows:1.A method was developed for determination of 58 fragrance allergens in ABS and PVC plastic toys based on dissolution precipitation-gas chromatography tandem mass spectrometry(GC-MS/MS).Sample was dissolved by tetrahydrofuran,and precipitated by methanol,then its supernatant was taken through 0.22μm filter membrane.After separated by DB-17MS column,the analytes were determined by tandem mass spectrometry in SRM mode,and then quantified via the external standard method.The study optimized the GC-MS/MS parameters of 58analytes and further proved that the dissolution precipitation method had a high extraction rate by determining the recovery of the homemade positive sample.Its results showed that GC-MS/MS had strong anti matrix background interference ability.Due to the existence of solvent effect and matrix effect,the matrix matching standard curve method should be used for quantitative analysis.The limits of quantification(LOQ)for different substances were 0.1-10mg/kg,and the correlation coefficients(R~2)were all larger than 0.9926 in the linear range of0.1-600 mg/kg.The recoveries of fragrances in ABS and PVC samples ranged from 76.9%to129.6%and 70.3%to 126.5%,respectively.The relative standard deviations(RSD,n=6)ranged from 0.90%to 11%and 1.1%to 9.6%,respectively.Finally,65 commercial toys were detected,and the contents of 10 fragrances detected ranged from 3.0 to 46.8 mg/kg.The method was simple,rapid,accurate,sensitive and low cost,so it was suitable for the detection of 58fragrance allergens in plastic toys.Compared to conventional extraction methods,the dissolution precipitation method is simple to operate,does not require any instrumentation,and exhibits good recovery of analytes on plastic samples.Due to the solvent effect and the matrix effect,quantification using a matrix-matched standard curve ensures the accuracy of the quantitative results.2.A high-throughput method for the determination of 216 chemical substances in ABS and PVC plastic products for children was developed based on the solution-precipitation-gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(GC-MS/MS)technique.These chemicals covered58 fragrance allergens,24 PAEs,18 PAHs,15 nitrosamines,35 PAAs,22 chlorobenzenes,and44 other substances.Optimized and established a MS/MS mass spectrum library of 216substances,including the first-order mass spectrum of all materials and their secondary mass spectra at different collision energies,which helps to effectively identify and identify substances.The LOQ for different substances were 0.1-10 mg/kg,and the R~2 were all larger than 0.9923 in the linear range of 0.1-200 mg/kg.The recoveries in ABS and PVC samples ranged from 63.9%to 137.6%.The RSD(n=6)ranged from 0.60%to 14%.Finally,a number of target substances were detected in the 61 actual samples analyzed,which posed potential hazards to children’s health.This method plays an important role in protecting the quality and safety of children’s products.
