Folk Paper-cut Art In Modular Space Design Application Research And Practice

As an artistic treasure in traditional national culture,folk paper-cut art is one of the oldest folk art in China.The art of paper-cutting continues to inherit and develop in the long river of history and has its own unique national cultural heritage.Different shapes of paper-cut have their own language connotations,rich in meaning,embody people's production and life,enrich people's spiritual life,and express people's yearning for and pursuit of a better life.Paper-cutting,as a two-dimensional figure,applies this kind of graphic art to space,which is a formal transformation from two-dimensional to three-dimensional.Using the hollowing out method of paper-cutting art,it is applied to the three-dimensional space such as screen,gallery,light and shadow,forming an art form based on the visual perception of emptiness,virtual reality and light and shadow.With the development of the times,modular space design has become a social demand and development trend,and is loved by the public.In today's modular space design,focusing on functional design,and space design is the unity of function and style,humanized design is inseparable from the special requirements of people.In response to this situation,this paper studies the topic of how the concept of paper-cutting art fits into the modular space.By analyzing the element symbols,formal features and spiritual connotations of paper-cutting,the “Artistic Ribbon-cutting” cultural exhibition center is divided into different functional modules as a whole space for design analysis.Each module is an independent individual in a large environmental space.It is independent and integrated with other modules,and uses the characteristics of paper-cutting to “cut and continue” to carry out structural space planning.According to the three categories of interior space design(human habitat space,limited space and non-restricted space),five typical indoor spaces of living space,commercial space,office education space,exhibition space and dining space are extracted.The paper-cut art is an important visual element of interior space design.Each module has a demonstration meaning as a separate space,and finally forms a conceptual space for people to display.This thesis uses the literature research method,field research method,tracking learning design expression method and so on.The system studies the elemental symbols of culture,the characteristics of paper-cutting form and the spiritual and cultural connotation,and analyzes the application of these three aspects of paper-cutting art in modular space.Detailed planning and design of the architectural appearance and interior space of the “Artistic Ribbon-cutting” Cultural Exhibition Center.Through the research of this topic,the art of paper-cutting has been promoted in a new form through the design of modular space.This modular space of paper-cutting art provides visitors with a new space design method,giving people design inspiration,and at the same time The development and innovation of art has certain innovative guidance and forward-looking.
