ZTA?ZrO2 toughened Al2O3 ceramics?particle reinforced high manganese steel composite is a material with both metal and ceramic properties.Due to its high strength and toughness,excellent wear resistance,it can meet the service requirements of modern industry for equipment under high speed,high impact and high wear conditions.In this paper,the wettability of Al2O3/high manganese steel was improved by coating the surface of Al2O3 substrate with B13C2/Ni mixed powder.The effect of coating preparation process and coating ratio on the high temperature wetting of Al2O3/high manganese steel was studied.Based on the above exploration,the porous preform was prepared by adding pore-forming agents,and the effects of different pore-forming agents and binders on the porosity and pore structure of the preform were studied.ZTA particle reinforced high manganese steel composite was prepared by die casting infiltration method.The wear resistance of high manganese steel and composite is compared and the friction and wear mechanism is analyzed.?1?The optimal process:the surface modification of Al2O3 substrate coated layer after 600?heating,heat preservation for 30 min,no oxidation,combine with Al2O3 substrate is better.At1410?,the quality ratio of 1:3 B13C2/Ni composite powder modification of Al2O3 substrate wetting Angle with high manganese steel is about 52°.Indirect wetting of Al2O3 substrate with high manganese steel.?2?Wetted Al2O3/high manganese steel have good interfacial bonding.There are cracks at the interface,which belongs to the coexistence of mechanical bonding and diffusion interface.In the coating layer,the contact between Ni and high manganese steel liquid reduces the interfacial tension of high manganese steel liquid.B and C undergo reaction diffusion.?3?With 2.5 g flocculent PVA pore-forming agent B13C2/Ni composite powder binder,600?heat treatment 90 min the preparation of porous precast body,porosity can be up to 51.9%.ZTA particle reinforced high manganese steel composites can be prepared by casting infiltration.Inthe process of casting infiltration,ZTA particles migrate in small distance.Composite material interface interlocking,interlocking.The uneven coating results in inevitable interface defects.?4?The friction and wear experiments of composite material and high manganese steel with bearing steel ball were carried out respectively.From the aspects of sample wear quality,wear zone depth and steel ball wear volume,it is shown that the addition of ZTA particles significantly improves the wear resistance of high manganese steel.The wear mechanism of composite materials is a mixed wear mechanism with adhesive wear as the main and abrasive wear as the auxiliary.
