Refractory organic wastewater and waste solid have caused great damage to the environment.Reasonable treatment has always been the difficult and hot spot in the field of environment.As the most promising method for the treatment of the refractory organics,the Electro-Fenton technology has been widely used.But the efficiency of Electro-Fenton is significanly limited by cathodes.Combined that the main materials of solid waste are carbon,a processes that efficient reuse of waste solid as cathode for pollutant degradation in Electro-Fenton process are invesgated in this paper.The main results are as follows:?1?Spent lithium ion batteries?LIBs?and coagulant sludge were recycled by a simple and green process to obtain the usable active materials.Their electrochemical characteristics were analyzed by cyclic voltammetry?CV?and linear sweep voltammetry?LSV?.The results show that the two kinds of waste solid as electrodes show strong redox reaction activity and two-electron transfer way.The graphite leaching by acid and alkaline?AAL?has the largest hydrogen peroxide selectivity.And among coagulant sludge electrodes,the material with 500ppm dosage of PFChas the highest hydrogen peroxide selectivity.?2?Three kinds of graphite materials were used to degrade bisphenol A?BPA?in Electro-Fenton system.The effects of different leaching processes on Electro-Fenton performance of materials were compared.The results showed that the highest yield of hydrogen peroxide was obtained by the AAL electrode exhibited but the maximum BPA removal was not achieved.On the contrary,the acid leaching graphite?AL?could adsorb more Fe2+to reach a reasonable proportion of Fenton reagent because of its abundant adsorptive functional groups on the surface.And the removal of 100%bisphenol A BPA could be achieved by electrolysis for 70 minutes.?3?The coagulation sludge was used to degrade BPA in Electro-Fenton system.The results showed that high temperature carbonation treatment could not improve the Electro-Fenton performance of sluge material.Among coagulation sludge with different dosage of PFC,the removal of BPA can reach 98.7%without adding Fe2+when the cathode was floc with 500 ppm coagulant dosage.The coagulation sludge was complex compound of carbonic organic matter and PFC.The hydrogen peroxide produced by sludge can reacted directly by the iron in the sludge to from in-situ Electro-Fenton to degrade BPA.
