The Extraction And Antibacterial Affect Of Cupressus Funebris And Sabina Chinensis

Antibacterial activities of plant essential oil had been proved to have inhibition effect on kinds of bacterium by many scholars.In order to provide theoretical basis for the development and utilization of the disinfection and sterilization products which come from plant essential oil,we study antibacterial activity of Cupressus funebris and Sabina chinensis essential oil,including extraction of essential oil,and essential oil content.The main results were as follows:According to compare extraction rate of Cupressus funebris and Sabina chinensis essential oil by steam distillation,the results showed that the best parameters of Cupressus funebris essential oil were raw material to water ratio 100g/600 mL,salt adding 2%,extracting time 3h,at this condition,the extraction ration was 57mL/kg.The best parameters of Sabina chinensis essential oil were raw material to water ratio 100g/600 mL,salt adding 1%,extracting time 3h,at this condition,the extraction ration was 55mL/kg.The influence factors of extraction rate was extracting time>NaCl concentration>raw material to water.With the increase of plant height,the content of essential oil in the branches gradually decreased,but in the leaves increased.The content of essential oil in the leaves is the most in the west and the least in the east,the content in the knot was obviously more than that in the non knot part.The results of the essential oil content from Cupressus funebris in different organs as follows: leaves>fine roots>thick roots>the bark>thick branches>small branches>the xylem.The content of the essential oil from Sabina chinensis in different organs: leaves>fine roots>the bark>thick roots>thick branches>the xylem>small branches.Chemical constituents of essential oil from five parts of Cupressus funebris and Sabina chinensis was qualitative and quantitative analyzed by GC-MS.The diameter of antibacterial activities circle showed that Cupressus funebris essential oil had little inhibition effect on Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli,had inhibition effect on Bacillus subtilis,the minimum inhibitory concentration is 20ul/mL.Sabina chinensis essential oil had little inhibition effect on Staphylococcus aureus,had inhibition effect on Escherichia coli,the minimum inhibitory concentration is 50ul/mL,had moderate inhibition effect on Bacillus subtilis,the minimum inhibitory concentration is30ul/mL.
