Research And Performance Study Of Functional Pillows With Perceived Cleanliness

In recent years,as the government has paid more attention to public health safety and consumers' health awareness has increased,home textile products with health care functions have become more and more popular.However,antibacterial bed textiles as a new type of textiles are not mature enough,there is no uniform testing and evaluation standard,and the functionality is difficult to be intuitively perceived by consumers,resulting in uneven quality of such products on the market.Therefore,the research and development of bed textiles with health care functions is particularly important.This paper uses the pillow tissue in the bedding textiles as a carrier to develop a functional pillow with perceived cleanliness based on inductive color change technology.The main contents of the paper are:First,through the pillow market analysis and consumer survey questionnaire,find out the market pain points and clear the direction of research.Then,the specific research and development content of the functional pillow towel is expounded.Attaching a natural algal plant extract with sebum sensing function to the sensing area on the surface of the pillow.By adjusting the sensitivity,when every square centimeter is contaminated with 2*10(-5)square moles of pollution factor,that is,human body skin secretion of oil,sweat and some bacterial metabolites(mainly Staphylococcus aureus,Escherichia coli,Candida albicans),the visible color changes in the sensing area,from blue to red,to remind consumers to clean in time.Through performance analysis tests and market research,it is established that functional pillows are woven from pure cotton yarn,through the weft-knitted air layer fabric structure,and yarn-dyed.In the selection of the coloring method,the inductive material was formulated into a reactive dye ink for exploratory testing.The test results show that the viscosity,surface tension and filtration performance cannot meet the ink performance requirements.In the production process,the optimal extraction and dyeing process of functional materials(natural algae plant extracts)was established by designing a four-factor three-level orthogonal test.The optimal extraction process of functional color-changing biomimetic materials is pure water extraction,extraction temperature 90 ?,extraction bath ratio 1:20,extraction time60 min,extraction stage 3 times.The optimal treatment process for dyeing cotton yarn on functional inductive color-changing material is 2% of functional material concentration,70°C treatment temperature,40 min treatment time,1:10 treatment bath ratio and 4% rare earth addition.Finally,a pillow towel performance study was conducted.A total of 9 indicators were tested in the basic performance study of the pillow towel.The test results show that,the p H of the pillow is 6.9,which is weakly acidic.It is similar to the p H of human skin;The warp breaking strength is292 N and the latitudinal breaking strength is 811 N.the breaking strength is large,and the durability is good;Soaking time is 3.4s,smaller and better than the other three pillows;The hair removal rate is only 0.1%,therefore,the hairiness and thread on the pillow towel are not easy to be dissipated;The color fastness(water fastness,color fastness to acid and alkali perspiration,color fastness to dry and wet rubbing,color fastness to saliva,color fastness to soaping)are all 4-5grades.therefore,the color fastness is better than the other three pillows.Consumer trial of functional pillows,a total of 20 trial objects,the test period is 1 month.According to the feedback results,the pillow towel is used for 2~3 months,the sensing function is degraded,the color of the sensing area is light,and it is difficult to distinguish whether it is discolored;Therefore,the optimal service life is 3 months.At the same time,the functional pillow has good softness and slight pilling and slippage problems.
