Quality Management Study Of Automotive Front Windshield New Product Development Project

In the rapid development of China's automobile market,the major automobile companies of the requirements for auto parts companies become higher and higher.Moreover,they are in order to occupy the automobile market as soon as possible,the major automobile factories will lunch many new models during the shortest time,and this situation would lead the development cycle of new projects become shorter and shorter.Although the development cycle continues to be shortened,the auto factory requirements concerning the quality of parts and components not only reduced,but also become higher and higher.And face this huge market in China,many domestic and foreign auto parts companies come to China and form a very intense market,cause the stronger only could leave in China market,how to in the same limited development time and guarantee the quality of new product development is the important factor that leading the China market.Although in the vehicle industry has many complete quality assurance tools,how to effectively use it and manage this problem by internal in the actual question,however there are many auto parts companies do not pay more attention to do,this is why also use the same quality tools,but did not use it and combine with the actual situation of company and management,leading to quality problems in the development process frequently.Since the project management could effectively supervise the time,cost and quality of the whole project,and also could analyze various risks in advance in the project,more and more auto parts companies input and continuously improve the use of project management in the new product development stage.C company is an enterprise which in charge of design and production of automobile glass,based on the function of the Chinese market for auto glass demand become higher and higher,in the past,it only used the single function has been unable to meet the serious requirement of the consumers and customers which the high product functional,the development of short weeks,so in order to guarantee the quality and meet all the requirements by internal or external.C company also comprehensively apply project management system,at the same time,had it to deploy project management training by internal,and optimize the company's project function,and improve the quality management in the process of project development.This paper via project management and the automobile five tools,analyze and optimize the problems of new products development process in the past,finally using the theory and methods of project management in the optimized development,using the actual case as a paper study which on the front windshield of Toyota's new project development,this paper combined with quality tool,FMEA and analysis the risk in the development process,according to the new quality requirements by Toyota architecture TNGA for the high-risk issues,setting up the quality requirements matrix.This not only improve the project quality in the whole project development process,but also setting up a unique quality matrix in the key or important processes of Toyota quality requirements in C company,which provided the necessary quality standard for the following relevant projects,and improve the project development efficiency as well as the quality of project development.
