Radiation Protection For Uranium Enrichment Facilities

The monitoring and analysis of radiation level is the fundamental part in radiation safety and protection for nuclear facilities,especially the places where uranium fluorides is easy to accumulate.During be engaged in the regulatory of nuclear safety,I have participated in many radiation monitoring work.Firstly monitored the airborne radioactive material in the working areas,the routine external exposure in the places where uranium fluorides is easy to accumulate,the external exposure of recently emptied cylinders in a domestic uranium enrichment facility.Then analyzed the rules of monitoring results and explained the reason of the rules.Based on these monitoring and analysis results,this paper gave several suggestions about the radiation protection of uranium enrichment facilities.
