This thesis mainly studies the floatation magnesium decreasing on Jinchuan copper-nickel sulfide ores by applying the combination of complexing agent-regulators and foaming agent.It centered on the following four chapters.The first chapter mainly describes the properties of Jinchuan copper-nickel sulfide ore.Summarized the current research on magnesium reduction process and magnesium reduction agent.For the Jinchuan mine,the commonly used magnesium-reducing agents are sodium hexametaphosphate,water glass,CMC,etc.A single inhibitor cannot effectively reduce the magnesium oxide content in the concentrate to 6.8% of the flash furnace requirement.The combination inhibitor is an effective route for reducing magnesium,and can exert the characteristics of different agents to produce a synergistic effect and achieve a better flotation effect.The second chapter mainly describes the experimental materials and experimental methods.The third chapter mainly introduces the screening and application of combination inhibitors.Through turbidity experiment,scanning electron microscopy spectroscopy(SEM-EDS),and first concentration,it was found that the combination of citric acid-sodium hexametaphosphate and sulfite-water glass can better disperse useful minerals and gangue.Further flotation experiments were carried out on sulphite-water glass.It was found that water glass-high-dose sulfite will inhibit the flotation of pentlandite.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and infrared testing revealed that this may be due to the formation of a large amount of hydrophilic sulfide on the surface of the pentlandite.The cut-circuit flotation experiment shows that when the amount of water glass is 200g/t-sulfuric acid is 100g/t,the magnesium oxide content in the concentrate can be reduced by about 0.3% when the nickel-copper recovery rate is flat.The fourth chapter mainly introduces the screening and application of combined foaming agents.It was indicated by micro-flotation that the combined foaming agent of tripropylene glycol monomethyl ether-MIBC can better separate pentlandite and serpentine under the condition of high dose inhibitor.At the same time,the combination foaming agent has the advantages of quick defoaming.The use of a combined foaming agent in the secondary acid flotation effectively reduces the stickiness of the foam and achieves a better flotation effect.
