In recent years, due to the rapid development of the construction industry, the environmental impact of construction and demolition waste has become increasingly prominent. In order to solve the problems of low recycling rate and serious environmental pollution during the treatment and disposal of construction and demolition waste in Xining. In this paper, based on the three steps of classification, characterization and weighting of life cycle impact assessment(LCIA),the environmental impact assessment caused by construction and demolition waste is studied from the midpoint and the end point, and the life cycle impact assessment framework of construction and demolition waste was established.Firstly, through the literature review, the current situation, principle and application of the monetary weighting method are deeply studied.Secondly, the monetary method in the life cycle impact assessment for construction and demolition waste is studied. The environmental impacts of the midpoint and end point types are converted into monetary value, and the monetary weight system applicable to the “Xining Construction and Demolition Waste Management System” is obtained.Among them, the Social Willingness to Pay(SWTP)is used to monetize the environmental impact of eleven midpoint types caused by inert construction waste.Specific content includes: climate change(CC)and ozone layer depletion(ODP)indicate the social willingness to pay with the cost of damage; The environmental tax is used for regional environmental impacts such as acidification(AP),eutrophication(EuP),photochemical oxide generation(POCP),land occupation, and noise exposure. For the environmental impact of the endpoint type, the monetary valuation of human health(HH)and ecosystem damage(ED)is derived from the benefits of existing valuation results in other countries. Finally, based on the construction and demolition waste life cycle impact assessment framework, using the midpoint and endpoint monetary methods, the life cycle impact assessment of the current status of the construction and demolition waste management system in Xining City was carried out.Environmental impact assessment studies were carried out on future prediction models for different construction rates of construction and demolition waste.Providing guidance for the development of construction and demolition waste treatment and disposal measures in Xining City in the future. The research results show that the total cost of environmental impact of the construction and demolition waste management system in Xining in 2013-2017 is 1011.71 million, the landfill treatment was 1005073100 yuan and the recycling was 6641800 yuan;Among them,Solid Waste>CC>Land occupation, the most significant impact of global warming and Solid Waste, accounting for 96%.In the endpoint result of the environmental impact assessment of the current status of the management system, the damage of the ecosystem is the most prominent. The comparative analysis found that the midpoint monetary method is more suitable for the environmental impact assessment of construction and demolition waste management system in Xining than the endpoint monetary method; In the future simulation analysis of the environmental impact of the inert construction waste management system in Xining City, due to the impact of the amount of construction waste, the overall growth trend of the environmental assessment results in 2018-2027 is stable, rising in 2027-2042.The lower the regeneration rate, the greater the environmental impact value.Recycled concrete and recycled mortar with higher regeneration rates will effectively reduce environmental impact.
