Tire pattern active mold plays an important role in the automotive mold industry,the high-precision block molds have attracted more and more attention in the field of tire mold manufacturing.The traditional tire pattern active mold manufacturing has the disadvantages of high processing cost and long production cycle.In order to reduce the manual trimming and machining of the block,it is very important to obtain the high-precision and low-machining tire block casting blank.Based on 3D printing technology,this paper integrates computer numerical simulation and3D scanning technology,through computer-aided casting process design,rapid prototyping of tire-patterned active mold casting and dimensional accuracy detection of casting castings based on reverse engineering to achieve tire patterning near-net shape digital manufacturing.In order to optimize the manufacturing process,the following research is carried out:(1)Based on the forming mechanism of SLS of coated sand,the orthogonal experiment of"8"shape under different parameters was designed,and the experimental results were analyzed by range analysis.The influence degree of each process parameter on the strength of coated sand was determined:Scanning pitch>laser power>layer thickness>scanning speed.Considering the strength and precision of the sample,the optimum combination of parameters is obtained as follows:powder layer thickness is 0.3mm,laser energy density is 0.1~0.15J/mm~2.(2)Through structural analysis of the block mold,a reasonable casting plan is designed,and the casting process is simulated by JSCAST,the casting plan is optimized and improved according to the simulation result.(3)Based on 3D printing technology,the rapid manufacturing of the tire pattern active mold casting type was realized,Experimental study on the effect of printing initial intensity on heating enhancement effect in post-treatment strengthening process.The heating system was realized by the flame heating and the hot air circulation heating,and the mold is strengthened.Finally,a good quality block casting blank was obtained,which verified the feasibility of the technical route.(4)Based on the technical principle of reverse engineering,the 3D non-contact laser scanner is used to evaluate the three-dimensional inverse and accuracy of the tire pattern active mold casting and casting.The dimensional deviation of the mold is withiną1mm,and the casting tread surface size deviation withiną0.6mm,the tolerance class of casting is CT5~6,which meets the near investment casting standard of casting blanks.
