With its excellent mechanical properties and high durability,concrete has been widely used in national road construction and infrastructure projects,and its application scope is more and more extensive.However,due to the wide application of concrete and reinforced concrete and the complex and changeable environment,concrete damage caused by climate and environmental factors has become more frequent in recent years,and concrete structure has become more and more popular due to the use of concrete and reinforced concrete.The structural damage and maintenance costs caused by the lack of durability are also increasing.The potential safety hazards caused by the lack of strength of concrete structure and the resources consumed by the maintenance of concrete structure seriously restrict the service life and application scope of concrete.After studying the characteristics of concrete,it is found that water is an important factor affecting the life of concrete.Limiting the invasion of water has obvious effect on the durability and service life of concrete.In this paper,the mechanism of hydrophilic properties of concrete is studied,and the hydrophilic surface of concrete is transformed into superhydrophobic surface by combining superhydrophobic theory and preparation method.A kind of coating is applied,that is,super hydrophobic concrete coating.Based on the classical theoretical model of concrete internal micro-structure and solid wettability,according to the new concept of binary synergistic nano-interface material proposed by academician Jianglei,the surface with micron-nano composite structure is constructed by template covering method on concrete surface,and the reagent for reducing surface energy is introduced by internal mixing method,and the ratio and template size are changed several times.The superhydrophobic concrete coating was successfully obtained after inches.The contact angle of water droplets on the surface of the coating can reach 161 °and the rolling angle can reach 7 °.In this paper,the surface morphology of superhydrophobic concrete coatings was studied and compared with ordinary concrete.The surface composition of superhydrophobic concrete coatings was analyzed.The micro-and nano-size morphology and chemical composition of superhydrophobic concrete surface were observed.It can be verified that the template method and reagent incorporation method selected in the preparation method played the role of structural micro-structure and reducing surface energy,respectively.The paper furtherstudies the application performance of super-hydrophobic concrete coatings.The water absorption,mechanical strength,self-cleaning,corrosion resistance and freezing rain resistance of super-hydrophobic concrete coatings were tested.The experiment results show that super-hydrophobic concrete coatings have excellent application performance: Effectively reduce the water absorption of concrete.Super hydrophobicity can be maintained after the surface is damaged by certain strength.Surface self-cleaning can be realized,anti-fouling ability can be improved,corrosion resistance of reinforced concrete can be enhanced,corrosion resistance of steel bar can be protected,freezing rain can be effectively prevented,and adhesion of surface ice can be greatly reduced.
