The 3500 kN continuous drive vertical friction welder is a special equipment for repairing welded aluminum anode steel claws.The steel claw clamp studied in this subject is a key mechanism of the vertical welder.It is a heavy-duty component in the welding process,and its static and dynamic performance has an exceptionally significant effect on the machining accuracy of the weldment.Therefore,the finite element analysis and optimization of the steel jaw fixture is carried out to improve the static and dynamic characteristics of the steel jaw clamp while reducing the quality of the fixture.It is of great significance to improve the machining accuracy of the steel claw and reduce the cost of the welding machine.According to the working requirements of vertical welding machine and the function of steel jaw fixture,combined with the design theory of fixture,the range of parameters of steel jaw fixture is determined.The structure of steel jaw fixture is preliminarily designed.The force analysis of steel jaw fixture is carried out,and the welding is calculated and determined.The maximum deformation of the steel jaw clamp under normal working conditions.Static analysis of the steel claw fixture under different working conditions,static sensitivity analysis of the key structure of the fixture,optimization of the multi-objective genetic algorithm of the fixture body and structural improvement of the end positioning block make the overall structure of the steel claw fixture The strength stiffness is significantly improved,which meets the welding performance requirements of the steel jaw fixture;then the weight of the clamping body and the outer rib of the clamp body is optimized,and three kinds of lightweighting of the opening on the side plate of the steel claw clamp are designed.The scheme performs static and modal analysis on each set of design parameters of the three schemes,and comprehensively selects the optimal scheme and parameters of the steel jaw fixture.The harmonic response characteristics of the final optimized steel jaw clamp are simulated,and the peak frequency of the clamp amplitude is obtained,which is close to the natural frequency obtained by the modal analysis of the steel jaw clamp,which verifies the correctness of the modal analysis.The fixture body is flexible,and the rigid-flexible coupling simulation of the steel jaw fixture is carried out to obtain a more accurate deformation of the fixture body,which provides a reference for subsequent optimization.Through the static and dynamic simulation and structural optimization of thesteel jaw clamp of the vertical welding machine,the static characteristics of the steel jaw fixture are obviously improved,and the quality is reduced by 3.08% on the basis of ensuring the rigidity and rigidity of the fixture to achieve the welding performance,which is realized to some extent.The purpose of lightweighting the steel jaw fixtures provides guidance for structural optimization design of other large and complex fixtures.
