On The Performance Evaluation Of Environmental Protection&Water Listed Companies

Environmental protection water is becoming a hot spot of national and social concern,and it plays an important role in ensuring the normal and orderly production of people’s production and living.At the same time,the environmental protection water is faced with many problems such as insufficient supply of water resources,poor utilization efficiency,incomplete water price formation mechanism,low concentration of environmental protection water enterprises and poor management and management level.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out comprehensive performance evaluation on the listed companies in the environmental protection water industry.On the basis of summarizing the relevant literature of performance evaluation at home and abroad,this paper expounds the related theory of performance evaluation,analyzes the development of environmental protection water listed companies and the current situation of performance evaluation,and on this basis,from the operational capacity,solvency,and so on.Five aspects of profitability,growth ability and responsibility performance ability to construct a comprehensive performance evaluation system containing 18 indicators.The factor analysis method is used to calculate the single factor score,comprehensive performance score and ranking of 35 listed environmental protection water companies from 2015 to 2017,and the results are analyzed and studied.In this paper,The comprehensive performance evaluation about the environmental protection water of listed companies is studied systematically.The conclusion of the research has important reference value for discovering the problems existing in the operation and management of listed companies.The research shows that the development of the listed companies in the environmental protection water industry from 2015 to 2017 is balanced,and the overall comprehensive performance level is general,which needs to be improved.The profitability factor is the most important factor affecting the performance level for three consecutive years and the overall performance is good.The effect of solvency factor on the performance level is weakened year by year and the overall performance of the debt service level is also better.However,in terms of profitability and solvency,there is a large gap in the level of each company in the same period,and some enterprises show very weak performance.In contrast,the overall performance of the growth ability factor and the operation ability factor is not satisfactory.From the vertical perspective,the comprehensive performance of each factor in different years is not satisfactory.The responsibility performance factor has the weakest influence on the comprehensive performance level and the poor performance level,but it will be affected by the ability level of other factors.Based on the above analysis,this paper suggests that the government should perfect the laws and regulations of the environmental protection water industry evaluation system,deepen the water price reform,innovate the green finance,construct the intelligent water affairs system,and promote the development of the industry concentration.Enterprises themselves should focus on promoting growth,actively improving operational capacity,coordinating the development of profitability,solvency and capacity to fulfill their responsibilities.
