Titanium dioxide(titanium dioxide)has attracted wide attention in the fields of photocatalytic water hydrogen production and photolysis of organic pollutants due to its high catalytic efficiency, stable chemical properties,non-toxicity and low cost.In order to increase the solar energy utilization and conversion efficiency developing new titanium dioxide composite photocatalyts with high catalytic efficiency and effective absorption of visible light is important. It isessentialto reducing the bandgap energy and improving the separation efficiency of photogenerated electrons and holes. In this paper, titanium dioxide composite photocatalytic materials had been prepared by using metal-organic complexes with conjugated structure as sensitizers to modify titanium dioxide. These composites can effectively absorb visible light and exhibit high photocatalytic activity. The main works are as follows:(1)OrganicmetalcomplexCu(HQC)2wassynthesizedby8-hydroxyquinoline-5-carboxylic acid as ligand and Cu2+as central ion under magnetic stirring.Diamondand nanotube titanium dioxide materials were prepared by hydrothermal method.Metal complexes were combined with titanium dioxide during hydrothermal process. In this way,two kinds of composite photocatalysts,Diamond Cu(HQC)2/TiO2 and nanotube Cu(HQC)2/TiO2 were prepared.(2)UV-vis,XRD,TEM,N2 adsorption-desorption and XPS were used to characterize the optical absorption properties, crystal structure,micro-morphology,pore size and distribution, and element composition of the composites.(3)The effects of the conditions of synthesizing composite catalyst and the amount of catalyst on the degradation efficiency of phenol were investigated. At the same time, the degradation of Norfloxacin by composite photocatalyst was investigated, including its kinetic characteristics, photoelectrochemical characteristics and cyclic stability.(4)Diamond Cu(HQC)2/TiO2 and nanotubeCu(HQC)2/TiO2were used as catalysts for toluene oxidation. The conversion of toluene and the selectivity of products were investigated. The possible mechanism of photocatalytic oxidation of toluene was proposed based on free radical capture experiments.
