Environment pollution and energy crisis is serious problem of the people in recent years.In order to solve this problem,the scientists took a variety of means.The fuel cell,as a kind of energy conversion equipment,has the characteristics of zero pollution and high energy conversion,is seen as an important means to relieve the energy crisis and environmental pollution.In all kinds of fuel cell,the direct methanol fuel cell has best application prospect,and the main factors of the development of direct methanol fuel cell is the catalyst.So we choose the platinum nano catalyst,which has an important position in the fuel cell,as our research object.In this paper,using the method of solvent heat in the oil phase,we get Pt-based nano metal alloys with cube morphology through a co-reduction of platinum and iron elements.And obtained a higher catalytic activity through etching.And the effect of post-processing on the performance of the catalyst was studied.The morphology characterizations are studied by transmission electron microscopy(TEM),high-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM)and X-ray diffraction(XRD).The electrochemical performance of samples is studied by cyclic voltammetry test.Through experiments,we found that alloying can improve the catalytic activity of platinum based catalyst,and etching can also effectively improve the activity of catalyst.Post-processing is also crucial to the improvement of the catalyst activity.We also try to get platinum-based catalysts with a higher atom utilization by reducing the size of the catalysts.Super small size(2 nm)platinum-based catalysts are prepared by the method of pyrolysis of carbonyl platinum.The morphology characterizations are studied by transmission electron microscopy(TEM),high-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM)and X-ray diffraction(XRD).The electrochemical performance of samples is studied by cyclic voltammetry test.Through experiments,we found that the catalysts with small size have obvious effect on the improve of the catalytic activity.The small size catalysts obtain higher catalytic activity than commercial platinum carbon catalyst.
