At present,there are a variety of geographic information data and geologic data,such as geologic structure map,topographic map,distribution map of pipelines oil wells and other dat a.These data belong to different departments and are in the charge of different people.The val ue embodiment is as difficult as the sharing and use of the information.In order to fix this pro blem,developing a GIS for operations and management with the advanced technology of scie nce and network becomes very necessary.Make the operations and management scientific,ne tworking and digital,and provide a strong guarantee for more effective and rapid production d ecisions.The dissertation is mainly composed of following parts:First is analysis and investigation of the oil field geographic information data.In view of the status quo of the oil field,investigate the existing geographic information data detailedly,and put forward an effective data storage and management program.Secondly,it is the GIS design in oil field.B/S network development architecture is adopted.Advantages of this architecture are the main system deployed on the server;the users can login the system through the WEB browser;the system can upgrade and maintain with high speed and low cost.The SQL Server database is adopted,and the database has the characteristics of stable performance,large amount of data storage,fast speed and so on.ArcGIS Server is applied to Map platform.This Server can store and process a variety of geographic data with large amount,fast speed and stable performance.Finally,it is the implementation of GIS main function.It mainly introduces the map tools,data import,map layer control,mapping and surveying,map printing,profile analysis,elevation extraction and 3D display,and lists the auxiliary description of key code.The GIS based on B/S mode,not only can achieve the basic functions that data loading,map layer control,but also can load overlarge UAV aerial image data,overlay DOM and DEM data,show the surface information more intuitively and clearly in 3D mode.At present,the deficiency of the system is the lack of the function of mobile GIS,which can not realize the real-time acquisition and query function of the geographic information.The further improvement and perfection is necessary..
