Edge-bottom water reservoir widely exists in both domestic and international oilfield.It is a common phenomenon that at the late stage of production,there are still lots of remaining oil in the reservoir,including the newly discovered oil province,dead oil area caused by oil-water flow and well pattern dead area,which means that a large number of oil and gas resources haven’t been produced.Common vertical well and horizontal well are not adopted to develop those residual oil because of the high investment and low efficiency.Compared with traditional wells,radial wells has smaller radius of curvature and borehole diameter and it can be used to develop the remaining oil due to the fast and efficient property.Based on the oil reservoir data of one block in Zhuangxi oil factory,this article carried out research on water control and stable oil production technology with radial wells in oil reservoir with edge and bottom water.ABAQUS finite element method is taken to analyze the effects of different formation parameters on the stability of URRS.Solid foam plugging agent and phenolic resin are tested and evaluated to find the optimized plugging agent and the water plugging technology is optimized.Numerical simulation is taken to optimize the gel partition size and URRS parameters and water plugging effect is evaluated.The research results show that horizontal in-situ stress difference,Poisson ration and the amount of URRS have significant influence on the borehole stability.To ensure the stability of URRS in Zhuangxi high permeability oil field,the upper limit of horizontal in-situ stress difference is 10MPa.Young modulus is no smaller than 1×1010Pa and Poisson ratio is no larger than 0.25.The upper limit of URRS number at the same layer is four.In the same injection volume,the plugging ratio of phenolic resin crosslinked gel is higher than that of solid foam obviously.Formation permeability difference has significant influence on the selective plugging of phenolic resin.When the formation permeability difference is below three,improved general water plugging technology can be used to eliminate the effects.The simulation results show that the technology combined URRS with phenolic resin has obvious plugging effect.Both the water cut and daily water production declined and daily oil production increased.
