Liposomes with a bilayer structure can encapsulate both lipophilic and hydrophilic compounds,which were widely used as carrier materials approved by FDA.The use of liposomes as carriers has many advantages,such as biodegradable and noncytotoxic,enhancing solubility of the encapsulated drug,protecting the drug from chemical or biological degradation under storage conditions or after administration.Superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles have been used as products in magnetic resonance imaging and have important uses in disease diagnosis.Meanwhile,magnetic nanoparticles could exercise a physical targeting effect on recognizing nidi in the external magnetic field.In previous reports,the magnetic nanoparticles were often physically encapsulated by liposomes which were easy to leak and had low encapsulation efficiency(EE)and unavoidable side effects on normal tissues.In this paper,we prepare a magnetic targeting nanoparticle carrier by coupling magnetic nanoparticle with phospholipid covalently,which not only retains the magnetic targeting but also reduces the toxicity.By the characterization of TEM and DLS,the prepared liposomes are shown to be spherical and have a good particle size distribution.In vitro experiments,it is verified that the magnetic liposome has great cytotoxicity to tumor cells especially SGC7901.Nitric oxide(NO),as an important signaling molecule or effector,plays an important role in various biological systems and participates in a variety of signaling pathways that are crucial for tumor cells.NO donors are compounds that produce NO.Compared with NO gas,NO donor is easier to be obtained and handled.They can not only produce NO bubbles to play the role of NO as a signal molecule effectively,but also provided synergistic effects with some antitumor drugs.We combined NO donor with magnetic phospholipid to prepare multifunctional liposomes.The magnetic targeting liposomes with NO donor have a good particle size distribution and keep the spherical morphology.NO release experiments showed that the experimental group had a higher fluorescence intensity than the control group,indicating that the experimental group released more NO gas.
