Rice is the main food crop in China. For a long time,in order to ensure its high yield and stable yield, excessive application of chemical fertilizer has aggravated agricultural non-point source pollution and increased greenhouse gas emissions. The replacement of chemical fertilizer by organic fertilizer can not only improve soil fertility, improve rice quality, but also realize the recycling of agricultural waste. It is an effective way to reduce the application of chemical fertilizers to prevent agricultural non-point source pollution. However, the application of organic fertilizer may increase greenhouse gas emissions from rice fields. Therefore, comprehensive consideration of positive and negative environmental effects such as replacement of chemical fertilizers, consumption of waste and greenhouse gas emissions, scientific evaluation of the environmental impact of the application of organic fertilizers,is of practical significance for promoting clean production of rice and achieving sustainable development of agriculture. To this end, this study explores the application of chemical fertilizer(CF)and organic fertilizer(pig manure ZM,cow manure NM,chicken manure JM)to greenhouse gas emissions and rice yield and quality in rice fields through a combination of field dynamic monitoring and laboratory analysis.Impact,on this basis, the application of life cycle assessment method to estimate the carbon footprint and carbon footprint per unit of rice production. It is expected to provide data support and theoretical reference for scientific application of organic fertilizer, promotion of utilization of livestock and poultry manure resources, clarification of environmental impacts of different fertilization modes, promotion of greenhouse gas emission reduction in rice fields, and reduction of agricultural non-point source pollution. The conclusions are as follows:1.Compared with chemical fertilizer treatment, rice and straw yield and biomass of organic fertilizer application increased or decreased.Only JM treatment rice yield and biomass increased by 38.4% and 24.4%,respectively(P<0.01),and the remaining treatment did not reach a significant level.2.Compared with chemical fertilizer treatment, the application of organic fertilizer can effectively improve the quality of rice. The application of organic fertilizer(ZM,NM,JM)increased the rate of whole milled rice by 1.9%~4.0%,the rate of chalkiness decreased by 1.9%~4.0%,the content of amylose decreased by 12.5%~29.1%,and the protein content increased. From 7.7% to 18.3%,the total amount of amino acids increased by 9.6% to 20.5%,of which JM treatment was the best.3.Compared with chemical fertilizer treatment, the greenhouse gas emissions and global warming potential(GWP)of rice fields with organic fertilizers have been improved. The cumulative emission order of CH4 under different fertilization treatments is JM>ZM>NM>CF,and the cumulative emissions of N2 O are ZM>NM>JM>CF,and the cumulative emissions of CO2 are JM>NM>ZM>CF.The global warming potential(GWP)of organic fertilizer treatment increased by 24.9%~55.0%(P<0.01).4.From the perspective of rice production life cycle, the application of organic fertilizer reduces the environmental impact of unit yield.Compared with CF,the respective treatments(ZM,NM,JM)were reduced by 39.9%,55.5%,and 9.6%,respectively.In summary, each treatment under organic fertilization mode can improve rice quality, increase positive yield of rice production, and reduce the carbon footprint of rice production units. Therefore,it is feasible to use organic fertilization instead of chemical fertilizer to promote clean production of rice.
