Yanchang is an important agricultural,animal husbandry,energy and chemical industry base in western region of China.In recent years,with the development of economy,a series of resource and environmental problems are inevitable,such as ecological environmental pollution,natural resource shortage and frequent geological disasters.How to coordinate the relationship between regional economic development,resource development and environmental protection reasonably has become one of the focus issue in current research.Therefore,it is urgent to carry out resource and environmental carrying capacity evaluation research to clarify the carrying capacity and current carrying status of regional resource and environment,identify the dominant and restrictive resource and environmental elements in the regional development process.This reasearch not only serves the overall planning of land and space of Yanchang,but povides reference for the related research in other areas.Based on the comprehensive collection of various resources such as resources,environment and economy in Yanchang,this paper combined field investigation,laboratory analysis and other research methods to extend the county's natural resources and its dependent environment based on the carrying capacity and sustainable development theory.For the research object,the key factors are resource system,environmental system,natural geography and socio-economic system.The main factors of the resource environment carrying capacity and the bearing capacity of the affected area are explored by using GIS and neural network algorithms.The research completed in this paper mainly has the following aspects:(1)Evaluation and analysis of single factor carrying capacity of resources and environment.According to the current resources and environment status in Yanchang county,this reasearch selected the elements of land resources,water resources,mineral resources,ecological resources,geological environment,soil and water environment successively for the resource and environment system.According to the characteristics of various elements,the study choosed appropriate evaluation indexes to evaluate the single factor bearing capacity respectively from the perspective of bearing status and bearing potential ability.The result indicates that the single factor bearing capacity shows the characteristics of overall spatial difference and local regional aggregation through the spatial comparison analysis of the results of GIS visualization processing.(2)Comprehensive evaluation and analysis of resource and environment carrying capacity.On the basis of single factor carrying capacity evaluation of resources and environment system,the natural geography and socio-economic status are fully considered,and the comprehensive evaluation index system of carrying capacity is constructed based on the analytic hierarchy process.(AHP).Based on the BP neural network algorithm,the evaluation model of resource and environmental carrying capacity of Yanchang was established.The reasearch studied the nonlinear relationship between each evaluation index and the bearing capacity index to compared and analyzed the spatial difference of resource and environment carrying capacity of Yanchang county.The calculation results of the model show that the resource and environment carrying capacity index of Yanchang county is within [0.1962,0.7899],and the evaluation results are visualized by GIS and divided into four grades: strong,stronger,weaker and weak.(3)Identification of carrying capacity influencing factors and exploration of territorial space planning: This study clustered the factors affecting the carrying capacity of resources and environment in each region of Yanchang county into four categories by SOM neural network model.,compareing the difference of resource and environment in different regions.The analysis of the factors and comprehensive bearing capacity evaluation results identify the dominant factors and limiting factors that affect the development of each region.According to the specific situation of the study area,the corresponding planning suggestions for the development mode,industrial layout and township function of the county land are proposed.
