Nowadays,with the rapid increase of China's population and the rapid development of the economy,many ecological crises such as waste of resources,scarcity of energy and destruction of the environment have followed,the environment of human life has been seriously damaged,and the ecological environment has become worse.With the advancement of science and technology,ecological efficiency has been proposed by most scholars,and its emergence has helped people solve the problems of economic development and ecological protection.Scholars have done a lot of research on ecological efficiency theory knowledge and calculation methods,but the summary of ecological efficiency calculation methods is relatively few.At present,scholars' exploration of eco-efficiency is mainly based on the theory and application of eco-efficiency.The exploration of eco-efficiency application is mainly from the perspective of enterprises and industries.There are few studies on eco-efficiency of products,and the research on eco-efficiency of rare-earth products even less.As a national rare earth industrial base,Baotou City's rare earth polishing powders have good chemical and physical properties.Therefore,rare earth polishing powders have advantages far superior to other polishing powders.However,the rare earth polishing powder is also accompanied by serious environmental pollution in the preparation process.What environmental pollution is caused by the production process of the rare earth polishing powder? How to reduce the pollution caused by the environment without changing the existing preparation process? These will be the main purpose of studying the ecological efficiency of rare earth polishing powder.The main work and research contents are as follows:(1)Analyze the research and application status of eco-efficiency at home and abroad,and recognize that the calculation of eco-efficiency selects different research methods due to different research objects and data capacity.By reviewing relevant literature at home and abroad,it is recognized that there are few studies on the eco-efficiency of products,and there are few studies on the eco-efficiency of rare earth products.Based on the characteristics of ecological efficiency research objects,using the ratio impact assessment method to analyze the ecological efficiency of rare earth products will be the current research trend.(2)This paper is a new attempt to study the ecological efficiency of rare earth polishing powder.On the basis of constructing the eco-efficiency model,and referring to the method given by Professor Steen of Charles University of Technology in Sweden,the ecological efficiency model is standardized.The results of ecological efficiency calculation will be presented in percentage form,and the larger the calculation result,the more favorable the rare earth polishing powder is to the development of the enterprise.The parameters of the eco-efficiency model are: life cycle cost and environmental damage cost,wherein the calculation of life cycle cost is based on Hadamard product analysis method and calculated by Matlab software.The calculation of environmental damage cost is calculated by GaBi software based on life cycle assessment analysis method.(3)Combining the example of the preparation process of rare earth polishing powder,the model is used to calculate the ecological efficiency of the polishing powder preparation stage.Using comparative analysis to explore the ecological efficiency of each stage,the environmental impact of the rare earth extraction and separation stage is the most serious.Combined with the influence of GaBi software on the environmental damage cost of the rare earth extraction and separation stage,the life cycle cost is affected by Matlab software.Analyze and explore which materials have the greatest impact on ecological efficiency at this stage.The results show that the ecological efficiency of rare earth polishing powder is 72.41%,which indicates that the environmental impact of the rare earth polishing powder preparation process is less than the value generated by the enterprise itself,which is conducive to the sustainable development of the enterprise.Through the analysis of the environmental impact of eco-efficiency,the rare earth extraction and separation stage is the main stage of environmental impact,and the proportion of marine toxicity(MAETP)in this stage is 91.56%.Through comparative analysis and material impact analysis,it can be seen that the consumption of kerosene has the greatest impact on the environment generated by the rare earth extraction and separation stage.The research on the ecological efficiency of the polishing powder preparation process will provide certain reference value for the rare earth polishing powder manufacturing enterprises,and further promote the sustainable development of the rare earth polishing powder manufacturing enterprises.
