With the continuous improvement of the production capacity of Baotou Steel,the expansion,expansion and economic rational utilization of mine resources are particularly important.In recent years,while vigorously developing its own mining enterprises,Baotou Steel has focused on strengthening the development and utilization of Mongolia's mineral resources.The iron in Mongolian ore mainly exists in the form of magnetite,and most of them are irregular aggregates;the impurity component sulfur is mainly in the form of pyrrhotite,and the content is high.In order to determine its selectivity and its feasibility in the application of Baotou Steel,detailed process mineralogy and its ore selectivity test for Mongolian ore were carried out to provide a reliable reference for subsequent industrial production practices.The reseaarch results of Mongolian magnetite show that the only useful elements in the Mongolian magnetite are Fe,and the impurities to be removed are mainly SiO2 and S;The size of the magnetite inlay is small,and it is necessary to grind the magnetite to be recovered.It is the experimental research focus to determine the appropriate grinding size,suitable selection method,process structure and process parameters.The grindability of Mongolian magnetite is studied by grinding test.The results show that Mongolian magnetite in the original ore grade TFe 54.70%?FeO 16.50%,Magnetic field strength 1800 Oster,selected granularity-200 mesh55%88%,concentrate yield 73.67%76.67%,concentrate grade TFe66.80%68.00%,weak tail iron grade 17.0%17.80%,The iron concentrate yield is 91.44%92.80%,choose an indicator that is 1.301.36.Closed circuit test of sulfur reduction show that,The concentrate yield is 94.54%,The iron grade is 67.79%,The iron recovery rate is 95.04%,S content decreased to 0.26%,The test achieved a good de-S effect,while ensuring a high recovery rate of the iron concentrate.In order to determine the feasibility of industrial application of Mongolian magnetite,industrial test and industrial trial production were carried out.The process of two-stage closed-circuit grinding,two-stage weak magnetic separation,one roughing,one finishing and one sweeping reverse flotation was adopted in the experiment,and good indexes were obtained.The industrial test results show that after the treatment of Mongolian magnetite by grinding,magnetic separation and reverse flotation process,high grade iron concentrate with lower sulfur content can be obtained,which can be used in industry.
