The Application Of Performance Prism Model In Internal Audit Department Performance Evaluation

In January 2018,the National Audit Office issued the document on internal audit.At the same time,the Ministry of Finance issued the guidance of prism model,both making the prism model return to the eyes of experts and scholars.Based on the expanded performance prism model,this paper constructs a set of internal audit performance evaluation index system using AHP,and applies the set of indicators to the case company.The main work of this article is as follows:(1)Propose modified performance prism model.It is proposed to introduce the financial dimension of the balance score card into the performance prism model,form the modified quadrangular prism model,and analyze the feasibility of application of the modified performance prism model.(2)Construct an internal audit performance evaluation model.According to Institution of Internal Audit(IIA)survey result gained from the platform of Global Audit Information Ney(GAIN)the 25 indicators,case company characteristics and related literature research,a total of 34 secondary indicators were selected in this paper,each of which accounted for 5-7 indicators.Then the article uses the AHP to analyze and calculate the results of the questionnaire survey.Based on this,the weights of each dimension and its refined indicators are obtained,and the consistency test is carried out.The object of the questionnaire survey is experts and scholars in the field of accounting and auditing.(3)Apply the newly established performance evaluation indicator system to the case company.Analysis of the shortcomings of A company's internal audit performance evaluation system is carried out.After the application of the new indicator system,the specific situation of the internal audit of Company A can be more comprehensive and objective.The evaluation index designed in the paper can cover the internal audit performance evaluation similar to that of the A company organization.Secondly,once the internal and external environment of the company changes,the company can consider modifying,deleting or adding relevant indicators.
