Along with the progress of modern fine chemical technology,membrane materials have been developed rapidly.It is widely used in construction engineering,aerospace,electronics industry,mechanical engineering and other fields.Among them,the tensioned membrane structure has excellent physical characteristics,its structure is soft,light weighted,and it has beautiful shape,these characteristics are very suitable for the requirements of large-span space structure,which making the tensioned membrane structure very popular in stadiums,exhibition halls,stations and other buildings.Membrane is a kind of flexible material.Its stiffness is small,only by providing a certain pre-tension can it resist external loads.In order to ensure the engineering quality of membrane structures and avoid engineering accidents,it is necessary to study the mechanical properties of tensioned membrane structures,such as load deformation and vibration characteristics.At present,many scholars have carried out theoretical analysis and numerical simulation on the mechanical properties of membrane materials.However,the experimental study of its deformation characteristics under uniform load and the vibration characteristics under impact load needs to be further studied..It is an important subject to study the mechanical properties of membrane materials through experiments.Therefore,in order to better develop building membrane structure and reduce engineering accidents,it is particularly important to study the deformation of membrane materials.It is of practical significance to master the mechanical properties of membrane materials under external loads.In this paper,the deformation response of plane tensioned membrane structures under uniform load and the vibration characteristics under impact load are analyzed through experimental research.The main research contents are as follows:(1)The uniaxial test of membrane under static uniform load is to study and analyze the deformation law of seven uniaxial membrane materials with different tensile angles under uniform load,and to verify the analytical formula of mechanical parameters and tensile angle α of membrane.The formulas of the maximum vertical displacement and the tensile angle of the membrane are obtained,and the analytical formulas of the mechanical parameters and the tensile angle of the membrane are verified.(2)The biaxial test of thin membrane in this paper is to study the deformation of membrane under biaxial pre-tension under uniform load,and to analyze the relationship between the vertical displacement of membrane and the pre-tension and uniform load.The formulas of membrane maximum vertical displacement,uniform load and pre-tension are obtained.(3)At present,some scholars have studied and analyzed the expression of the deflection response of membrane under impact load,but have not studied the relationship between damping and pre-tension of membrane,and the relationship between pre-tension and frequency.In this paper,the effects of pre-tension of different sizes on the amplitude,vibration time,vibration frequency and damping ratio of membrane under impact load are studied by impact load test.When the pre-tension of the membrane exceeds 6 kN/m,the maximum amplitude and vibration time tend to be stable,and the amplitude decreases exponentially.The formulas of linearity of frequency and pre-tension,and linearity of damping ratio and pre-tension are given.
