Indoor Air Pollution And Its Influencing Factors In Newly Decorated Rooms In Yixing

Objective:To understand the indoor air pollution status of newly decorated rooms in Yixing,and to explore the change law of the concentration of different functional space pollutants in the newly decorated rooms in Yixing,and analyze the influence of different decoration technology,materials,furniture,different seasons,temperature and time on the concentration of indoor air pollutants,so as to formulate the indoor air reasonably.The prevention and control measures of pollution provide a scientific basis.Methods:During 2012-2016,1064 sampling sites in 277 newly decorated rooms in Yixing were monitored and analyzed.Close doors and windows for 12 hours before sampling and keep doors and windows closed when sampling.The formaldehyde in the air was detected by phenol reagent spectrophotometry,and benzene series and TVOC were detected by gas chromatography.Some improvements in sampling and detection methods were also carried out.Results:The indoor air pollution of newly decorated rooms in Yixing is more serious,and the excess rate of formaldehyde is 17.76%,and the maximum detection concentration is more than 5 times more than the national standard.TVOC exceeded the standard rate of 65.88%,the maximum detection concentration exceeded 15 times the national standard.The benzene,toluene and xylene in the main benzene series exceeded 6.49%,9.87% and 6.30% respectively.The over standard rate of benzene,toluene and xylene is slightly lower than that of formaldehyde and TVOC,and the maximum detection concentration reaches 4 times,12 times and 13 times of the national standard limit respectively.The excess rate of formaldehyde in different functional rooms from high to low is in the following order: study room,living room,bedroom,kitchen,classroom;the rate of exceeding the standard of TVOC from high to low is in the following order: bedroom,living room,study room,classroom,kitchen.The main pollutants exceeded the standard rate is luxurious decoration > intermediate decoration > simple decoration.The concentration of indoor air pollutants decreases with the time of decoration.The concentration of indoor air pollutants showed seasonal change,the spring was lower,the summer increased significantly in summer,and the autumn and winter decreased obviously.The excess rate of pollutants was positively correlated with the change of temperature.The effect of wall material on indoor air pollutants is not obvious.New furniture is an important factor affecting the two indoor air pollution.When the decoration materials are not sealed,the formaldehyde emission is relatively high,exceeding the limit value of E2 grade wood-based panels by 5.0mg/L.The formaldehyde emission of wood-based panels treated by edge treatment is low,and the sealing edge of hot melt adhesive is superior to that of U type.Conclusion:Indoor air pollution in newly decorated rooms in Yixing is more common and has not been improved for many years.The major pollutants were formaldehyde and TVOC,followed by benzene,toluene and xylene.Decoration technology,materials,furniture,season,air temperature,decoration time and so on are the main factors that affect indoor air pollutant concentration.
