Mechanochromic material is a kind of fluorescent materials,whose emission wavelength can be responded to pressures or shearing.These special property make it a potential subject for theoretical research and application.And the discovery of aggregation induce emission phenomenon provide a convenient pathway to achieve high efficient luminescent solid.Herein,based on tetraphenylethene(TPE)that is known as a model AIE-active luminogen,a group of diethylamino(DEA)functionalized TPE analogues were designed and prepared.Remarkable structural and electronic effects on photophysical properties are observed.Our research contain:(1)Based on tetraphenylethene,we introduced in diethylamino group,designed and synthesized a series of compounds named DEATPE,DFDEATPE and CNDEATPE.While TPE did not have mechanochromic property,these compounds revealed great mechanochromic property.What’s more DEATPE and DFDEATPE had self-recovery ability,which is rarely seen.That’s because even in solid state,DEATPE and DFDEATPE also have strong intramolecular motions,which supply another reason for CIE property.In addition,these compound were applied in cell imaging due to their high quantum efficiency and biocompatibility.(2)Further introduced different kinds of electronic accepters to DEATPE molecular,we designed and synthesized DATPE and DANTPE.These compounds exhibited AIE property and obvious intramolecular charge transfer effect.DATPE molecular in THF/water mixture exhibited a special time related wavelength changing.That is because its ICT transition was forbidden when crystalline.DANTPE and DATPE both have strong contrast mechanochromic property.And the path of the restrain and activation of ICT transition is a new explicate for mechanochromic mechanism,which may offer a new strategy for the design of mechanochromic molecular.
