Mechanical equipment will inevitably have some operating faults in the production operation since most of the automatic production equipment is in working state for a long time and the traditional manual fault monitoring has been unable to meet the needs of enterprises for production efficiency.As a special equipment used for conveying cement clinker in large cement plant,the chain bucket conveyor is also a kind of transport equipment widely used in industrial production field and it is easy to happen the operating fault of roller sliding in the long –time work project.For this purpose,this paper designed a set of chain bucket conveyor roller operating fault monitoring system to achieve the operating state of the roller fault detection based on the actual project.Firstly introducing the structure and working principle of the chain bucket conveyor briefly,this paper clarifies the characteristics of sliding operation fault and derailment fault of the roller during operation.It expounds the overall design scheme and concrete realization of the chain bucket conveyor roller operating fault monitoring system,and selects the key hardware equipment such as industrial camera,lens,light source and industrial personal computer.The main work contents are as follows:1.According to project requirements,relevant technical data was reviewed and participated in the overall design of the system.The overall system design includes monitoring design scheme and principle description of roller fault detection.A detection method based on machine vision was proposed to detect the sliding operating fault of the roller,and the detection method based on RFID was adopted to detect the derailment fault of the roller.2.In the aspect of image algorithm design,it describes the realization of detection method for roller sliding operation fault and introduces the image preprocessing,image segmentation,morphological processing,contour extraction,Eigen value calculation,positioning of marking plate and other image processing algorithms in detail.3.With regard to system software design,the monitoring terminal host computer and server were designed respectively.Among which,the software design of the host computer of the monitoring terminal includes the design of image acquisition module,data acquisition module and communication module.It describes the realization of the detection method for roller derailment fault.The design of server software includes database design and man-machine interface design.4.Finally,an experimental platform was set up to test the system's functions and verify the feasibility of the detection scheme and the system design scheme.This paper realized the chain bucket conveyor roller operating fault monitoring system by research and analysis and has practical significance in the relevant production link.
