| There are two methods for solidification and forming of molten steel:traditional die casting method and continuous cast steel method.Continuous casting steel is a new technology to cast and form molten steel directly.Its appearance fundamentally changed the steel ingot-primary rolling process which has dominated for a century.Compared with the ingot-primary rolling process,the biggest feature of continuous casting is to omit the procedures of demoulding,soaking and blooming the ingot.The investment in infrastructure can be saved by 40%,the occupied area can be reduced by 30%,and the labor force can be saved by 75%.Continuous casting steel technology improves the metal yield,and can obviously reduce the loss in terms of cutting head and tail.Continuous cast steel can reduce energy consumption by one half to one quarter without reheating process of soaking pit,and energy consumption can be further reduced if casting blank direct rolling process is adopted.The degree of mechanization and automation in the production process is high,and the most important thing is that the variety quality is obviously improved.The large rectangular billet produced by 4#continuous caster in type steel plant is mainly used to produce 18#-30#angle steel with various specifications,especially320×460mm~2 section large rectangular billet used for the production of 25#-30#angle steel with high added value.Under the condition of the original process and equipment of4#continuous caster,the function of continuous caster can be improved by transformation,and the function of quality assurance equipment can be fully developed.in production practice,various process parameters can be continuously groped and optimized,so that the process control parameters can be optimized,and efforts can be made to realize the production of flawless continuous casting slabs,thus improving the quality and yield of angle steel,increasing brand effect and market share,and finally creating good economic benefits for enterprises.Figure 55;Table 24;Reference 50. |
