| The content of Siin oriented silicon steel is usually around 3%.It can be categorized as a soft magnetic material which contains super large{110}<001>grains.Such material are mainly used in the production of generators,transformer iron core and so on.Due to the complex manufacturing process,oriented silicon steel has been named as the golden pearl on the top of the crown ofthe modern steel industry.It has been considered as an important symbol of the development of a steel plant.The aim of the current paper is to explore the measures that can be used to control precisely the composition of the oriented silicon steel in the melting process and its microstructure after the hot-rolling procedure.The influence of these measures on the texture of the steel will be addressed as well.The result of this study can contribute to the upgrade of the product structure of Bao Tou Iron and Steel Corporation.It may also help to transform the equipment superiority of its new steel improving high-end products ratio and the product versatility of the above mentioned new continuous hot rolling line can be achieved in addition to enhance the competitiveness of its steel products.According to the influence of elements on properties of oriented silicon steel,through the precise control of the components in smelting process and the inclusions in continuous casting process,the internal quality of the billet are improved,the qualification rate of the surface quality of billet is achieved 100%,the producing cost was reduced,and the continuous casting heats of oriented silicon steel increase from 3 heats to 8.The analysis of hot rolling microstructure and texture of oriented silicon steel shows that controlling finishing rolling temperature and coiling temperature at about 950?and550?,respectively,is beneficial to increase the content of Gauss texture,thus affecting the properties of final products. |
