'Irony'—Application Of Paper Materials In Fashion Design

Paper is a material that is full of inclusiveness and creativity.By constantly changing the type and quality of fibers in the process,the paper has a unique texture and rich texture changes.These characteristics also make paper materials have strong artistic personality and regional culture,making paper materials become the inspiration muse of people artistic creation.This paper sorts out the history and the research situation of the paper material in the garment by the method of the literature reading,and explores the possibilities of the paper material application in the clothing,and sums up the application value of the paper material in the field of real life and art creation.Secondly,combined with the current background and the psychological state of the "Post-90s",the consumption concept selected the "Irony" as the subject of this design study.the paper material is woven and wrapped with the taking material and the non-taking material by controlling the number of the fibers in the manufacturing process to change the thickness and the toughness of the paper to be presented by the author,The process of mosaic and the like,and the destruction of the paper material itself,have laid the foundation for the development of the subsequent design research work.Finally,through the research and analysis of the "Irony"-type psychological state,the whole series of ready-to-garment design and production is completed by combining the author own emotional experience.Through this "Irony" design study,the author hopes to make an effective exploration and continuation of China traditional paper culture to a certain extent,so that those young people who live under the pressure of self-suppression will receive more attention and understanding.Encourage and help young people more bravely get rid of the psychological state of irony and face up to their true self.
