Mesoporous materials have larger size of pore compared with microporous materials,and have high surface area compared with macroporous materials.A series of block copolymers were synthesized by reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer polymerization(RAFT).The structures were investigated by nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR),fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)and gel permeation chromatography(GPC).Those block copolymers were applied for the following aspects.This PS-b-PHEA diblock copolymer was successfully used as the template to prepare the mesoporous silica materials.In order to modulate the porosity of the mesoporous silica materials,this diblock copolymer was further functionalized via its reaction with 3-isocyanatopropyltriethoxysilane(IPTES)to afford a new diblock copolymer bearing an alkyloxysilane subchain.This derivate diblock copolymer was also employed to prepare the mesoporous silica materials through the inter-component reaction between the block copolymer and silica matrix.Also P(S-alt-MA)-b-PS and PS-b-PAA diblock copolymer were used as the templates to prepare the mesoporous silica materials.P(S-alt-MAH)-b-PS diblock copolymer mixed with phenolaldehyde resin prepolymer to prepare the mesoporous carbon material.In this work,all the mesoporous materials were characterized by means of small angle X-ray scattering(SAXS),transmission electron microscopy(TEM)and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET)measurements.
