Raw soil buildings belong to green buildings, based on simple, and no pollution to the environment,is a kind of architectural form of sustainable development. But the mechanical properties of the raw soil material is poor.In order to improve the strength and durability of raw soil buildings. In this paper, the modified raw soil material is used. This paper focuses on the modified of loess, through the modification of loess to increase its mechanical properties, and optimize the loess blocks. The main content of the research are:On the basis understanding of physical properties of the loess, the modified of loess materials by adding cement, soil ion curing agent as admixture, and take the physical methods of compaction to carry out the modification.Take the compressive strength, shear strength, dry shrinkage test, water absorption test to modified loess.According to the test results, fit the constitutive relation of loess.Put forward a new type of block:the block section is square, and on both sides and middle had open holes.Optimization method is Multi-objective,the objective function is compressive strength, thermal properties and relative weight, respectively.Block in the middle of the hole is grouting, use finite element analysis for grouting masonry, this paper simulates the compressive strength and shear strength destruction form.Through the modification of loess test results, get the reasonable dosage of admixture:5% cement + 0.018% ion curing agent. And gives theconstitutive relation of the loess material equation,in ABAQUS finite element analysis, validate the correctness of the constitutive relation.Optimize the block, considering compressive and shear strength ofmasonry, finally decided the new reasonable block size.
