With the rapid development of highway traffic in China,the number of motor vehicles continues to increase,which brings convenience to people's travel and also causes traffic accidents.China's research on road traffic safety started relatively late,and there are few studies on two-lane roads below the second and second level,but the traffic accidents on the second and third grade roads are the most and most serious,especially It is the road junction that causes traffic accidents due to improper overtaking and the traffic level is relatively complicated.The accident rate is the highest.Therefore,it is necessary to study the key technology of traffic safety design for two-lane arterial highway.Firstly,this paper defines the two-lane arterial highway,and through the data and data analysis of traffic accidents,the distribution law of traffic accidents on two-lane trunk roads and the influencing factors of traffic safety are summarized,which is the latter for the two-lane arterial highway.Theoretical support is provided for the study of traffic safety issues at the intersection of overtaking and peace.Secondly,aiming at the over-vehicle safety problem existing in the road section,the overtravel traffic design theory is proposed,including the over-the-horizon line-of-sight theory study,the over-the-horizon line-of-sight analysis model of the flat curve and the longitudinal section of the vertical section,and the theoretical basis of the over-lane setting of the steep slope section.Based on the theoretical analysis of overtaking design,the overtaking traffic design technology is proposed: two overtaking models of road shoulder overtaking and "2+1" overtaking are established,and the characteristics,geometric parameters,overtaking traffic facilities,etc.of the "2+1" overtaking model are established.In-depth research and calculations were carried out;using the proposed overtaking model to carry out traffic design for overtaking of general road sections and steep slope sections,including the analysis of the radius of straight sections,flat curved sections and longitudinal section road sections of general road sections,and overtaking of steep slope sections Set the location and other content.Furthermore,for the traffic safety problems existing at the level crossing of the two-lane arterial highway,the safety line-of-sight technology based on the critical gap theory and the left-turn lane setting technology are proposed to solve the problem of the intersection;the access spacing,key geometry Design elements and research on traffic safety facilities at the access port to solve the traffic safety problems of the access ports on two-lane arterial highway.Finally,taking the S210 Haiyang section as an example of traffic safety design project,through the field investigation,the overtaking traffic design technology and the intersection traffic design technology proposed in the paper are applied to the actual road to verify its practical feasibility,and truly realize the theory and practice.Combine.
