| Residual oil Hydrotreating is one of the key units in refineraies,and its control system design is of significance to the product qualities as well as resource utlization rate.Based on the new built residual oil hydrotreating unit in Jinling Petrochemical Company,a new control system made by Honeywell EPKS was discussed in this paper.This paper first introduces the process mechanism of residual oil hydrotreating,and then according to the process demands of residue hydrotreating unit,the general control scheme is put forward,which includes the general architecture,distributed system architecture,and fault tolerant Ethernet structure,etc.Secondly,according to the requirements of DCS system,the hardware of the control system of residue hydrotreating unit is designed based on EPKS,which includes the type select of the hardware,the design of operating station,controller,input-output modules,Ethernet,as well as system relibilities design,etc.Thirdly,the software of the control system of residue hydrotreating unit is designed based on EPKS.According to the development demands and the characteristics of the DCS,the configuration design is finised,as well as the control strategies,and the system resources configuration,etc.Finally,some key control loops of residual oil hydrotreating hydrotreating is introduced,in which temperature and fuel pressure cascade control of furnace,raw material buffer vessel pressure split range control,as well as thermo-high pressure separator level selective control and cool-high pressure separator level selective and split range control are discussed in detail.This system is now successfully committed in Jinling Petrochemical Company.The hardware and software of the control system are all proved stable and reliable,which meets the residual oil hydrotreating process demands.The automation of the unit are improved,the refinery costs are reduced and the product qualities are improved by the new control system. |
