Investor Attention And Coal Listed Companies Market Performance Research

Since the beginning of the 21st century,the stock market has experienced many outbreaks of bull market,which has gradually pushed the stocks into the public's field of vision from a small investment field,opening the era of all-people stock trading.For investors in the stock market,in the era of big data,how to make the right choice from a large amount of information becomes the most critical issue.In the face of such massive information,how do investors' attentions be measured,whether they will affec.t the market performance of listed companies,and if they have an impact,what are the impacts,etc.,these issues are relatively high.Research value and application potential.Based on this,this paper uses literature review method,data processing method and empirical analysis method to select 17 coal industry listed companies as research objects,Baidu index as the research indicator of investor attention,combined with Fama-French ?The factor model is used to perform linear regression analysis on the daily trading data of the sample company's stocks throughout the year of 2018 to study the specific impact of investor attention on the stock market performance of listed companies in the coal industry.The results of this paper show that the current investor attention has a significant positive correlation with the current stock returns and liquidity of coal listed companies;while the investor attention in the lag period is significantly higher than the current stock returns of coal listed companies.The negative correlation,and the investor attention in the lag period is still significantly positively correlated with the stock liquidity of the current coal listed companies.Most of the existing researches focus on the entire A-share market or GEM stocks.It is also one of the innovations of this paper to select the specific industry of the coal industry to conduct in-depth research on the impact of investor attention.As a core industry in China,the coal industry has an unshakable importance.It is hoped that it can play a certain role in the...
