Scraper conveyor(SC)is the main transportation equipment for the fully mechanized mining face.Horizontal bending angle(??)of the S-bending area has an important impact on the running load,power consumption and the life of SC.In this paper,the ?? of the S-bending area of SC is optimized as the research target.The coupling model between ?? of the S-bending area and load is created,and the horizontal bending angle optimization algorithm based on improved bat algorithm is designed.The main researches of this paper are sketched as follows:(1)Based on the basic structure and the working mechanism of SC,with the formation mechanism and function of the S-bending area,an optimal design scheme for ?? of the S-bending area of SC is given.The overall design of ?? of the S-bending area optimization system is designed,which includes ?? of the S-bending area control subsystem and the running load of SC monitoring subsystem.(2)Combined with the coal cutting process,a calculation model for the volume distribution of coal carriers along SC is established.The running resistance of the straight section,the additional resistance of the bending section and the impact load are studied.The coupling model of ?? of the S-bending area and running load is created.The relationship between load and current of the drive motor for SC is explored.Under different horizontal bending angles,the additional resistance,the straight line running resistance,the coal carrying capacity distribution force and the motor driving current are simulated,establishing the basis for optimization ?? of the S-bending area of SC.(3)According to the performance of the bat algorithm in optimizing ?? of the S-bending area,two improvements are made.Horizontal bending angle optimization algorithm is designed based on the improved bat algorithm(MBA).Combining with "synergy of three machines" in fully mechanized mining,the optimization constraint model and evaluation function are established,which reduces the error between theoretical and actual working condition,horizontal bending angle of the S-bending area optimization strategy is developed in this paper.The horizontal bending angle of the S-bending area of SC was performed at21220 fully mechanized mining face of Changcun Mine of Henan Daya Energy Co.Ltd.The experimental results show: the theoretical-actual accuracy of ?? and runningload coupling model is up to 93.8%;when ?? is changed from 1.5° to the optimum value of 0.66°,the energy consumption of SC motor is reduced by 25%,the cost is reduced by several hundreds dollars,the mean time between failures(MTBF)is increased,the investment in production equipment is reduced millions of dollars,and the annual output is increased by about 30,000 tons of coal.
