UHMWPE fiber is one of the important fiber materials used in composite reinforcement,which together with carbon fibers and aramid fibers are called three high strength fibers.Although the volume and mass of UHMWPE fiber are lower than that of water,and UHMWPE fiber has advantages in developing composites with light weight and easy transportation and installation,it has some questions in bonding ability and interfacial bonding force between fiber and matrix,becaues UHMWPE fiber has some disadvantages that the friction coefficient of fibers is low,the surface of fibers is smooth,the cohesion between fibers is poor,it is difficult to form aggregates of fibers and the chemical properties of fibers are not active,hydrophobic and oleophobic.The paper researchs on the compound material with UHMWPE fiber reinforced.2/182dtex and 275dtex yarns which are made of 1.21 dtex and length of 38mm UHMWPE staple fiber are selected as warp and weft yams to make two plain weave fabrics with covering coefficient of 87.98%and 126.56%.And plain weave fabric is treated by surface physical and chemical treatment such as oxidation,corona and silane coupling agent bonding.Then plain weave fabric is used as reinforcement and thermosetting epoxy resin is used as matrix to make composite plate by vacuum infiltration.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The effects of the morphology and property of the fabric which is treated by oxidative modification of hydrogen peroxide,double treatment of oxidative modification of hydrogen peroxide and modification of silane coupling agent,and corona modification are studied by weight,size,contact angle and SEM analysis.(2)The effect of the composite board with thermal epoxy resin and UHMWPE fiber reinforced is studied by Research on using vacuum infiltration method to prepare epoxy resin composite board reinforced by analysing the fibre proportion of composite boards and observing the breaking plane of composite boards.(3)Research on the tensile and bending properties of the composite board and research on the reinforcement effect of composite board with different surface modification treatments and covering coefficients.(4)Use ABAQUS software to fit the tensile properties of composite plates with the finite element analysis.The following conclusions are drawn from the research:(1)In the same specifications of fabric,the quality of woven fabric which has double treatment of oxidative modification of hydrogen peroxide and modification of silane coupling agent is reduced by 0.07%and the size of that is reduce by 0.85%.Besides,the surface contact angle of the woven fabric is reduced by 12.08%which greatly increased the surface wettability of the fabrics and the diameter of UHMWPE fibers becomes uneven which increases the surface roughness of the fabric.(2)The quality and volume of woven fabirc which is treated by differet surface modification treatment in the composite board are similar.The fibre proportion of tensile strip is about 44%and the fibre proportion of bending strip is about 30%.(3)In the same specifications of fabric,the best enhancement is woven fabric which has double treatment of oxidative modification of hydrogen peroxide and modification of silane coupling agent,because,its tensile modulus of elasticity which is 2460.46MPa,elongation at break which is 23.20%,and bending strain which is 6.10%is the maximum value.In the same surface modification treatment,composite board reinforced by woven fabric with the covering coefficient of 126.56%has better tensile and bending properties.(4)Though the simulated data of the tensile propertie of the composite board fitted by ABAQUS software is slightly higher than the actual measurement value,it can also reflect changes in tensile strength and effectively simplify the number of measurements in actual experiments.
