China is a country with "lack of oil,gas and coal",although coal consumption is lower than ever,coal is still China’s largest source of energy and cannot be replaced in a short period of time.With better coal resources consumed in the east,more and more mines have been chosen to mine the complex geological structure and deep areas in order to prolong the service life of the mine.Because the mining will cause the stress redistribution in the stratum,the fault may be activated again and start to move near the working face,that 1s,the fault activation.Fault activation may cause dynamic disasters in mines,and also lead to abnormal changes in surface subsidence area.Based on the geological and mining conditions of Chai Li coal mine in Zaozhuang,the similar material simulation experiment 1s adopted to study the influence of fault activation on surface movement caused by mining.The high precision industrial measurement system is used to observe the deformation of the rock layer,and the pressure sensor is set up to monitor the fault stress,the influence of the mining ahead and the change of the stress of the floor.The distribution of the strata movement and the fault stress are calculated by the numerical simulation.Combined with the classic mining overburden movement and floor movement model,we studied the comprehensive calculation model of mining strata and related parameters.When the tendency of the fault is consistent with the moving angle of the base rock,the dip angle of the fault is greater than the movement angle of the bedrock,the fault lies within the influence range of the working face mining.The fault hinders the development of the surface movement,but it can not completely eliminate the influence of the surface mining on the surface mining.When the mining strength 1s increased,the fault control of the moving range 1s becoming weak.According to the experimental conclusions and the specific geological and mining conditions,the feasibility of mining faces 1s studied.The research results have certain theoretical significance and practical value for safe mining near the same type of coal mine.
