Atmospheric particulate matter is the main source of atmospheric pollution.Radionuclides and heavy metal elements attached to atmospheric particulate matter can lead to certain harm to the environment and human body. Therefore,it is necessary to study them. From November 2017 to November 2018,the atmospheric particulate matter in Nanning was sampled by using a large flow sampler for one year.Radionuclides in the samples were measured by using high purity germanium gamma spectrometer, and heavy metals in the samples were measured by portable X-ray spectrometer. In this paper, the effects of air quality and meteorological factors on radionuclides in atmospheric particulate matter were analyzed. The sources of heavy metals in atmospheric particulate matter were analyzed through the method of correlation coefficient, enrichment factor and factor analysis. The hazards of heavy metals were evaluated. Finally, the distribution of radionuclides and heavy metals were compared and analyzed. The results are as follows:(1)The average mass concentration of atmospheric particulate matter in Nanning is 0.088 mg/m3.(2)The concentration of 210Pb and 7Be in Nanning is 0.087 mBq/m3 and 0.336 mBq/m3 respectively.210Pb and 7Be are positively correlated with atmospheric particulate matter concentration and air quality parameters.210Pb is negatively correlated with temperature and humidity and 7Be is negatively correlated with humidity.Wind direction and rainfall have important effects on specific activity of 210Pb and 7Be.(3)The order of heavy metals content in Nanning atmospheric particulate matter is:Fe>Zn>Mn>Pb>Cu>As>Hg>Ni.Heavy metals, such as Fe,Zn,Mn,Pb,Cu,As and Hg have strong correlation with each other, and it is found that they have a common source mainly related to coal combustion and automobile emissions by means of enrichment factor method and factor analysis method.Ni mainly comes from petroleum combustion and industrial production.(4)Distribution of heavy metals in atmospheric particulate matter has a certain correlation with 210Pb and 7Be,but a stronger correlation with 210Pb.
