Slope stability analysis is one of the core contents of field study,With the open mineral production and scale of the ever-expanding,The slope stability of open-pit mine is becoming more and more obvious, especially the soft rock open-pit mine slope, the landslide is large, large scale, difficult to prevent and control, resulting in extremely heavy losses; How to analyze the soft rock open pit mine slope and the reasonable design of the slope form is an important prerequisite for the safe and efficient production of open pit mine..In this paper, the southeast of Baiyinhua No.1 opencast coal mine is used as the engineering background.Site investigation;theoretical analysis;rigid body limit equilibrium and numerical simulation methods and methods are integrated. The stability of the southeast slope is analyzed,When the weak layer exposure length and the length of the coal pillars are different,The stability of the southeast slope is studied. Finally, the reasonable tracking distance and depth position are determined. The results show that the weak layer is the key factor to control the stability of the southeast slope of the Baiyinhua No.1 opencast coal mine. The failure mode is the stratified-stratified slip with the weak layer as the bottom interface. The stability of the slope increases with the increase of the exposure level of the weak layer. When the length of the stay is greater than or equal to 180m and the tracking distance is in the range of 50m-300m,the southeast can be safely degraded.;In order to maximize the safety of mining and security, choose to stay pillar width 180m,tracking distance 50m.
