4#coal seam faced Jinghe river and confined aquifer of cretaceous threat,which lie in the northen of Xiagou mine field.For the first coal face ZF2801 of 4#coal seam in Xiagou coal mine using fully mechanized caving mining,studied on the feasibility of fully mechanized caving mining under complex containing water body,provided basis for safe mining of other working face in mining area under the Jinghe river,and was of great significance for mines with the same mining conditions.Based on the geological data provided by the hydrological hole,analyzed on the water resisting property of overlying strata,determined the location of the strata with good water separation performance.The mechanical model got the water flowing fractured zone height of ZF2801 working face was 144.06 m;The formula of the water flowing fractured zone height under the influence of many factors was derived using statistical analysis,it was concluded that the water flowing zone height was 122.96 m.The numerical simulation method got the water flowing fractured zone height was 146 m.According to the effective water barrier thickness method,the safety mining under the water body can be realized when the maximum effective thickness of the aqufuge was greater than or equal to 12 m in the safety protection coal pillar.the minimum distance between the working surface and the aquifer was 192.5 m,the maximum possible height of water flowing fractured zone was 146 m,concluded that the thickness of the safety protection layer was 46.5 m and the safety protective layer is a sandy mudstone with good impermeality that the safety protection layer was the effective aquifuge.Therefore,it was safe and feasible to fully mechanized caving mining under complex containing water body.Through the analysis of the comparison,it was found that using mechanical model,statistical analysis and numerical simulation method to get the results with the field measurements of water flowing fractured zone height transformation were basically the same height.The ZF2801 working face carried out mining under complex containing water body,and realized safe mining.
